Conducted over 40 field inspections related to railway matters, actively gathered collective feedback from commuters, and subsequently followed up with railway officials to address and resolve the identified issues.
Initiated the introduction of new train services when Namma Metro work began in Whitefield last August. These services enhanced commuter mobility during road disruptions caused by Metro construction. Additionally, actively volunteered to develop crucial railway stations such as Hoodi, Cantonment, Carmelaram, Doddanekundi, and Bellandur, making significant contributions to the expanding suburban rail infrastructure.
Pioneered a significant milestone by initiating the completion of automatic signaling between Cantonment and Whitefield, a development that enhances line capacity without the need for additional station construction and ensures ongoing maintenance.
Over the past few years, I have spearheaded 37 new railway projects and successfully secured stoppages for 28 different trains at various city railway stations, offering more boarding point options and alleviating traffic congestion. Prioritizing the proposal and approval of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) and Road Under Bridges (RUBs) wherever feasible has been a key focus.
Instrumental in introducing twelve new trains from Bangalore, including the recent launch of two from Banaswadi to Hosur, while actively contributing to the electrification and doubling of the Bengaluru-Mysuru railway line for enhanced fuel efficiency, environmental sustainability, faster operations, and increased services between the two cities.
Advocated for doubling efforts, with four projects in progress, including the crucial Baiyappanahalli-Hosur doubling, and supervised over 30 projects to enhance passenger amenities at KSR Bengaluru and other stations.
Addressing the inconvenience of canceled rail services between Bengaluru and Hosur, I engaged with the DRM Bengaluru, leading
to the subsequent restoration and providing significant relief to daily commuters.
Initiated the establishment of a MEMU maintenance facility in the Bengaluru division to enhance the efficiency of train operations. Subsequently, through my intervention, platforms 9 and 10 at KSR Railway Station were seamlessly connected to KSR Metro Station, resulting in significant benefits for passengers.
Facilitated the construction of an alternate approach road to the level-crossing gate at Panathur, addressing a longstanding issue.
Successfully obtained approval for expanding the Baiyappanahalli Station terminal. Played a pivotal role in ensuring that KSR station matches in facilities and capacity to handle traffic, especially considering the growth inthe eastern part of Bengaluru.
